Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to request deletion of your Receipt Scout account and the data associated with it.

Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)

  1. Open Receipt Scout and sign in.
  2. Tap the account icon in the top-right of the receipts screen.
  3. On the Account screen, scroll down and tap “Delete account”.
  4. Confirm in the dialog by tapping “Delete”.

Your account and data are removed immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Request by email

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access your account, email us and we will delete your account and data on your behalf:

Send a request from your account email to barsuck.evgeni@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Receipt Scout account”.

We verify the request comes from the email on the account, then delete it. Email requests are completed within 30 days.

What is deleted and what is retained

Receipt images Not stored — images are processed to extract data and are not retained on our servers.
Subscription / purchase records Managed by Google Play and our payments provider (RevenueCat). These may be retained by those providers as required by their policies and applicable tax/ accounting law, independently of your Receipt Scout account.

Retention period

In-app deletion removes your account and receipt data immediately. Email-based requests are processed within 30 days. Backups, if any, are purged within 90 days. We retain no personal data after deletion except where required by law.
